While many sensors claim to detect "gas," the MQ-6 Gas Sensor Module is chemically tuned specifically for Isobutane and Propane—the two primary components of bottled LPG. This makes it far more effective than generic sensors for detecting leaks in camping stoves, RV heating systems, and domestic LPG cylinders. It ignores common interference like cooking smoke better than the MQ-2, giving you a reliable warning system when it counts.

We strictly enforce a Probots™ Lab Verified protocol where we measure the heating coil resistance of every batch. We ensure it matches the 30-33Ω specification so that your sensor reaches the optimal 40°C operating temperature for accurate detection. Packaged with Probots™ Secure-Transit protection, the sensitive mesh arrives undeflected and ready for calibration.

Compatibility & Platform Support
Arduino (Uno/Nano/Mega): Directly Compatible. The 5V logic matches perfectly.
ESP32 / ESP8266: ⚠️ Caution Required. The Analog output typically ranges from 0 to 4V. You MUST use a voltage divider (e.g., 10kΩ & 20kΩ resistors) to drop the signal below 3.3V to avoid damaging the ESP32 ADC.
Raspberry Pi: ⚠️ Requires ADC. The Pi cannot read analogue voltages. Use an external ADC chip (MCP3008) or use the Digital (D0) pin for a simple "Leak / No Leak" alarm.
