Simultaneously, the VL53L0X Lidar fires invisible infrared laser pulses to measure the exact distance to the floor with millimetre-level precision, locking in your altitude (Z axis). Together, they provide the flight controller with the data needed to hold a rock-solid position up to 2 meters above the ground.
