PB-A06 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor 25cm - 600cm Range Dual mode UART Module

These Ultrasonic sensors work in a similar way to radar and sonar systems. They do not require much electrical power to run, making them ideal for battery-powered applications. The sensor consists of two parts transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter emits high-frequency sound waves, and the receiver processes the echo that results from that signal bouncing back from an object. 

PB-A06 series Module has two different modes flat object and people detection measurement modes, the sensor working mode can be set mainly by changing the resistance value, which is located on the back side of the circuit board. To set the flat object mode detection resistance value is 0Ω,20Ω,36Ω and for the Human body detection mode resistance value is 56Ω,82Ω,120Ω,200Ω.  Flat detection mode has a Small beam angle, suitable for long-distance measuring, People detection mode with high sensitivity, width beam angle, is sensitive to small objects, suitable for people detection applications. It has a 25cm blind area for Flat ranging mode, with short to long distance detection is 25cm to 600cm measuring range, and  30cm for People detection mode, with short to long distance detection is 30cm to 200cm measuring range, specially designed for plane object target processing, sensitive to plane object detection with UART output, and the sensor comes without PVC housing which can be easily integrated into your project and product. Best suitable for Smart waste bin management systems, Horizontal distance sensing, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control, object proximity, presence detection, and parking management system applications.
