1. Does this include the Raspberry Pi 5? No. As noted in the disclaimer, this is strictly the ABS case and mounting hardware. The Pi 5 board is not included.

2. Will this case fit a Raspberry Pi 4? No. The Raspberry Pi 5 features a completely different layout for its USB and Ethernet ports. This case is strictly molded for the Pi 5.

3. What is a DIN Rail? A DIN rail is a standard 35mm wide metal rail widely used globally in industrial cabinets, server racks, and breaker boxes to securely mount modular electrical equipment.

4. How do I attach it to the DIN rail? The back of the case has a sliding lock clip. Pull the clip down, hook the top of the case over the rail, and push the clip back up to lock it securely in place.

5. Can I mount it to a wall without a DIN rail? Yes, the rear of the case features two standard keyhole mounting slots for sliding the case onto wall-mounted screws.

6. What are the overall dimensions? The case measures 90mm long, 71mm wide, and 62mm tall.

7. What is the clear plastic cover for? It serves as an inspection window. It allows you to see the Pi's internal status LEDs or small diagnostic displays without exposing the board to dust.

8. Can I access the MicroSD (TF) card? Yes, there is a precisely molded slot on the side of the enclosure allowing easy removal and insertion of the MicroSD card.

9. How do I press the power button? The case features a built-in, recessed plastic pusher mechanism directly over the Pi 5's power button, allowing you to turn it on and off from the outside.

10. What are the two small circular holes on the side? Those are reserved punch-outs for external SMA antennas. If you install the Pi inside a metal cabinet, you can run pigtail cables through these holes to mount external WiFi antennas.

11. How do I install the Raspberry Pi inside the case? Remove the bottom panel. Screw your Pi 5 directly onto the standoffs on the bottom panel using the provided screws. Then, slide and snap the panel back into the main housing.

12. Does the active cooler require thermal paste? The active cooler typically comes with pre-applied thermal conductive pads on the bottom of the aluminum block. You do not need liquid thermal paste.

13. Where does the active cooler plug in? It plugs directly into the dedicated 4-pin JST fan header located on the Raspberry Pi 5 motherboard.

14. Is the active cooler loud? At 100% speed, you can hear the blower fan. However, because it plugs into the dedicated fan header, the Pi 5 automatically regulates the speed based on CPU temperature, keeping it practically silent during normal use.

15. Will the active cooler block my GPIO pins? No. The aluminum heatsink is designed specifically to cover only the CPU, RAM, and power management chips, leaving the 40-pin GPIO header fully exposed and accessible.

16. Can I use a HAT (Hardware Attached on Top) with this case? Depending on the physical height of the HAT, yes. The case has a tall 62mm profile, offering significant headroom under the clear window for terminal block HATs or relay boards.

17. Is this case waterproof? No. It features extensive ventilation slots and open ports for cables. It is designed for indoor, dry environments like electrical cabinets.

18. What material is the case made from? It is molded from high-quality, impact-resistant ABS plastic, making it lightweight yet durable and electrically insulating.

19. How do I remove the case from the DIN rail? Insert a flathead screwdriver into the bottom of the black locking clip or use your thumb to pull it downward, which releases the tension, allowing you to lift the case off the rail.

20. Can I see the red/green status LED? Yes, there is a tiny pinhole cutout located right next to the power button specifically designed to let the Pi's internal status indicator LED shine through.
