PB-A11 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor 21cm - 300cm Range Dual mode UART Module Waterproof IP67

These Ultrasonic sensors work in a similar way to radar and sonar systems. They do not require much electrical power to run, making them ideal for battery-powered applications. The sensor consists of two parts transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter emits high-frequency sound waves, and the receiver processes the echo that results from that signal bouncing back from an object. 

PB-A11 series Module has two different modes flat object and people detection measurement modes, the sensor working mode can be set mainly by changing the software version. Flat detection mode has a Small beam angle, suitable for long-distance measuring, People detection mode with high sensitivity, width beam angle, is sensitive to small objects, suitable for people detection applications. It has a 21cm blind area for Flat ranging mode and 23cm for People detection mode, specially designed for plane object target processing, sensitive to plane object detection, built-in precision algorithm, which can measure the flat objects stably within 3 meters.
The sensor is optimized for human targets under people detection mode, sensitive for human body detection, and stable for human target measurement. The sensor comes with  UART output and adopts a compact and Right angled snap-fit sturdy PVC housing and meets the IP67 water intrusion standard. Best suitable for robot obstacle avoidance and automatic control, Horizontal Distance sensing, object proximity, presence detection, and parking management system applications.
