Advanced UART and Sensorless Homing The TMC2209 V2.0 is a powerhouse capable of delivering up to 2.8A peak current (2A RMS). While it features a traditional potentiometer for manual current adjustment (Vref), its true power lies in the dedicated UART pin. By using UART mode, your 3D printer's firmware (like Marlin or Klipper) can dynamically adjust the motor current, microstepping resolution (up to 1/256), and operational modes on the fly. Furthermore, this module supports StallGuard4, which detects mechanical resistance on the motor. This allows you to configure "Sensorless Homing," completely eliminating the need for physical endstop switches on your X and Y axes.
