1. Does this case include the Raspberry Pi computer? No. As stated in the disclaimer, this listing is only for the ABS plastic case, the fan, the heatsinks, and the mounting hardware. You must provide your own Raspberry Pi 5.

2. Will this case fit a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B? No. The Raspberry Pi 5 swapped the location of the USB and Ethernet ports and removed the audio jack. This case is strictly molded for the Pi 5.

3. What material is the case made from? It is constructed from high-quality, impact-resistant ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic.

4. What are the specifications of the included fan? The included fan is an SHCHV DC brushless fan rated for 5V and 0.20A.

5. Where do I plug the cooling fan in? The Raspberry Pi 5 features a dedicated 4-pin JST fan header specifically for active coolers. You can plug the fan connector directly into that header, or wire it to the 5V and Ground pins on the GPIO header.

6. How many heatsinks are included? The kit includes four black aluminum heatsinks of varying sizes to perfectly fit the Pi 5's main processing and power chips.

7. Do I need thermal paste for the heatsinks? No, the four aluminum heatsinks come with pre-applied thermally conductive adhesive tape on the bottom. You just peel off the backing and stick them onto the chips.

8. How do I assemble the case? The plastic case pieces snap together without tools. Lay the Pi into the base, snap the middle frame over it, screw the fan to the lid, and snap the lid on.

9. Do I need tools to install the fan? Yes, you will need a small Phillips-head screwdriver to attach the cooling fan to the top lid using the four included metal screws.

10. Can I access the MicroSD card without taking the case apart? Yes, the bottom base features a precision cutout that allows full access to the MicroSD card slot for easy OS swapping.

11. Is this case wall-mountable? Yes! The bottom piece has two cross-shaped keyhole slots, allowing you to slide the case onto two screws mounted in a wall or under a desk.

12. Can I access the GPIO pins with the case closed? The standard design encloses the top of the board to maximize cooling efficiency. To easily attach jumper wires to the GPIO header, you will need to pop the top lid off.

13. What are the four small clear dots for? Those are adhesive silicone rubber feet. You stick them to the four circular indentations on the bottom base so your case won't slide around or scratch your desk.

14. Will the case block my WiFi or Bluetooth signal? No. ABS plastic is completely transparent to radio frequencies. Your wireless connections will work perfectly.

15. Is the cooling fan loud? Small 5V fans can produce an audible hum at full 100% speed. However, if plugged into the Pi 5's dedicated fan header, the Pi's OS will automatically regulate the fan speed based on temperature, keeping it nearly silent during idle tasks.

16. Do I have to use both the heatsinks and the fan? While you can use one or the other, it is highly recommended to use both. The heatsinks pull heat off the chips, and the fan exhausts that heat out of the case.

17. Can I use the official Raspberry Pi 5 Active Cooler inside this case? No. The official Active Cooler is quite tall and wide. It will likely conflict with the top lid and the included fan. You should use the cooling solution provided in this kit.

18. Can I see the status LEDs through the case? The case is solid black, but the design relies on the gaps around the side ports to let the ambient light from the power/status LEDs shine through.

19. Will the fan drain my power supply? The fan draws a maximum of 0.20 Amps (1 Watt) at 5V. If you are using a standard 15W or 27W USB-C power supply, the fan's power draw is completely negligible.

20. How do I clean the case? You can wipe the matte black ABS plastic down with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Do not use harsh solvents like acetone, as they will instantly melt and ruin the plastic.
