The 3rd-generation universal programmer from XGecu. Supports over 31,000+ ICs, including high-capacity NAND, EEPROMs, MCUs, and Flash memory. This mega-bundle includes 42 adapters, an SOP8 in-circuit test clip, and extraction tools.
The industry standard, completely redesigned. The XGecu T48 is the highly anticipated 3rd-generation evolution of the widely loved TL866 series. Engineered with a much more powerful 32-bit MCU running at 120MHz, the T48 drastically reduces read and write times compared to older models. It features a high-quality 40-pin industrial ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket on top, allowing you to easily drop in DIP chips or expansion boards and lock them securely into place.
A Massive 42-Piece Adapter Ecosystem The true value of this bundle lies in the 42 included adapters. Modern chips rarely come in the standard, large DIP package that fits directly into the main socket. This kit provides you with custom routing boards and clamping sockets for virtually every common surface-mount package, including SOP8, SOP16, PLCC20/28/32/44, TSOP, and QFN.
In-Circuit Programming and Essential Tools You don't always want to desolder a chip just to read its data. This kit includes the invaluable SOP8 Test Clip. This spring-loaded clamp grabs onto 8-pin EEPROM chips while they are still soldered to the motherboard, allowing you to flash laptop BIOS chips or read automotive immobilizer data seamlessly. The package also includes a dedicated 1.8V adapter for modern low-voltage SPI flash, an EDID cable for directly reading laptop LCD screen EEPROMs, and a PLCC chip extractor tool to prevent bending delicate pins.
MCU: 32-bit at 120MHz (High-speed processing)
Main Socket: 40-Pin Industrial ZIF (Replaceable)
ISP Interface: 16-Pin external header for In-System Programming
Max VPP Voltage: Up to 25V (Crucial for writing to older EPROMs)
Supported ICs: 31,000+ (NAND, eMMC, NOR, EEPROM, MCU, GAL, SRAM testing)
Dimensions: 10.0cm x 6.5cm x 2.8cm
Power Connection: Standard USB Type-B (No external power brick required)
Laptop / PC Repair: Recovering "bricked" motherboards by using the SOP8 clip to directly re-flash the corrupted BIOS chip.
Automotive Diagnostics: Reading and modifying immobilizer EEPROM data or instrument cluster mileages from car ECUs.
Retro Computing & Arcade Repair: Programming legacy EPROMs (with 21V/25V programming voltages) to fix vintage arcade boards or classic consoles.
IC Testing: Utilizing the software's built-in testing features to verify if standard 74/54 series TTL logic gates or SRAM chips are faulty.

What is the XGecu T48? It is the 3rd generation of the popular TL866 universal programmer, used for reading, erasing, writing, and verifying code on thousands of different microchips.
How is the T48 different from the older TL866II Plus? The T48 features a much faster 120MHz processor, supports up to 25V programming voltage (up from 18V), and has expanded support for high-capacity eMMC and NAND flash chips.
Does it require an external power supply? No. Despite supporting higher programming voltages, it draws all the necessary power directly through the standard USB cable connected to your PC.
What is the SOP8 test clip used for? The black clip allows you to attach to 8-pin SOP/SOIC chips (like BIOS chips) directly on the motherboard so you can read/write them without having to use a soldering iron.
Can I use my old TL866II Plus adapters on the T48? Simple, direct-pin adapters (like a standard PLCC32 to DIP32) will work. However, complex adapters with built-in logic for NAND or TSOP chips are specific to the T48 and are not backward compatible.
Does the software work on Mac or Linux? Officially, XGecu software is designed for Windows (Win 7/8/10/11). Mac and Linux users typically run it successfully through a Virtual Machine (like Parallels or VirtualBox).
How many chips does it support? The device currently supports over 31,000+ ICs, and the software is regularly updated by XGecu to add support for newer chips.
What is the 1.8V adapter board for? Standard programmers output 3.3V or 5V logic. Many modern motherboards and tablets use low-voltage 1.8V SPI flash chips. This adapter safely drops the voltage so you don't instantly destroy the chip.
What does the PLCC Extractor tool do? PLCC chips sit incredibly tight in their sockets. This spring-loaded tong tool safely hooks the corners of the chip to pull it straight out without bending the fragile pins.
Can I use this to fix a bricked PC motherboard? Yes, this is the primary tool used by repair technicians to re-flash corrupted UEFI/BIOS EEPROM chips.
Does it support automotive ECUs? Yes, it is heavily used in the automotive locksmith and tuning industries to read 8-pin EEPROMs (like the 93Cxx or 24Cxx series) from instrument clusters and immobilizers.
What are the physical dimensions of the programmer? The unit is very compact, measuring exactly 10.0cm long, 6.5cm wide, and 2.8cm thick.
What is the port on the side of the device? That is a 16-pin ISP (In-System Programming) header. It allows you to use jumper wires to program chips directly on a PCB if a specific programming header is provided by the board manufacturer.
What is the EDID cable used for? It connects directly to the ribbon port on laptop LCD screens, allowing you to read or rewrite the EDID chip (which tells the motherboard the screen's resolution and manufacturer data).
Why are there so many green circuit boards included? These are routing boards. They allow you to solder unique surface-mount chips directly to them, and then plug the pins into the T48's ZIF socket to read them.
Are the pins pre-soldered on the adapter boards? Many of the primary clamping sockets are fully assembled. Some of the raw green routing boards require you to solder the included pin headers onto them yourself.
Can it test standard logic gates? Yes, the software includes a massive database for testing 54/74F/LS/HC CMOS and TTL logic ICs to see if they are fully functional.
Where do I get the software? You must download the latest "Xgpro" software directly from the official XGecu manufacturer website.
How do I insert a chip into the main socket? Lift the silver metal lever on the ZIF socket, drop your chip (or adapter board) in, ensuring Pin 1 aligns with the diagram in the software, and press the lever down to lock the pins.
Is there built-in overcurrent protection? Yes, the T48 features multi-level overcurrent and overvoltage protection to prevent damaging the programmer or the host PC's USB port if you accidentally insert a chip backward.
