1. Does this include the Raspberry Pi 5? No. As noted in the disclaimer, this is strictly the metal case and mounting hardware. The Pi 5 board is not included.

2. Are the large black antennas in the photos included? No. The photos demonstrate application scenarios. External antennas and SMA pigtails must be purchased separately.

3. Will this case fit a Raspberry Pi 4? No. The Raspberry Pi 5 features a completely different layout for its USB and Ethernet ports. This metal case is strictly machined for the Pi 5.

4. What is a DIN Rail? A DIN rail is a standard 35mm wide metal rail widely used in industrial cabinets, server racks, and breaker boxes to securely mount equipment. This case includes a clip to snap directly onto those rails.

5. Does this case include a cooling fan? No, this specific model relies on massive passive ventilation slots cut into the top, sides, and rear of the metal frame.

6. Can I fit the Official Raspberry Pi 5 Active Cooler inside? Yes! Because the case is 48mm tall, it has plenty of vertical headroom to accommodate the official Active Cooler or most low-profile aftermarket fans mounted directly to the Pi.

7. Will this metal case block my WiFi and Bluetooth? Yes, solid metal acts as a Faraday cage and will severely degrade the internal WiFi signal. You MUST use external antennas if you plan on using WiFi while inside this case.

8. How do I install external antennas? The case features two circular punch-out holes on the rear. You insert a standard SMA pigtail connector through the hole, secure it with a nut, and attach your antenna to the outside.

9. What are the overall dimensions of the box? Without the mounting brackets, the main body is 66mm wide, 76mm long, and 48mm tall.

10. How do I access the MicroSD (TF) card? There is a precisely machined slot on the front face of the enclosure, allowing you to insert and remove the MicroSD card without taking the case apart.

11. Can I press the Pi 5's power button? Yes, the case features a dedicated button cutout on the front panel with a small pusher mechanism to easily turn the Pi on and off.

12. Can I access the GPIO pins? The case is fully enclosed for industrial protection. To run ribbon cables to the GPIO header, you would need to route them out of the ventilation slots or leave the top cover off.

13. What are the brass standoffs for? The four brass standoffs are used to securely elevate the Raspberry Pi 5 motherboard off the metal floor of the case, preventing the solder joints from touching the metal and causing a short circuit.

14. Is the case waterproof? No. It features dozens of ventilation slots for cooling. It protects against impacts and large debris, but it is not protected against water or fine dust.

15. Do I need to buy my own screws? No, a complete hardware bag with all necessary machine screws, nuts, and even a miniature screwdriver is included in the box.

16. How do I attach the wall mount brackets? The two metal "ear" flanges screw directly into the side panels of the main case, allowing you to bolt the entire unit flat against a wall or wooden board.

17. Can I mount it to a TV or monitor? Standard VESA mounting holes on TVs are usually 75mm or 100mm apart. You may be able to use the wall mount brackets to attach it to a monitor arm, depending on your specific screen's hole spacing.

18. What is the case made out of? It is formed from rigid, high-strength sheet metal with a durable, scratch-resistant matte black powder coating.

19. How do I install the DIN rail clip? The plastic DIN rail clip screws into the pre-drilled holes on the bottom plate of the metal case. Once attached, it allows the case to snap onto a standard 35mm rail.

20. Can I see the status indicator LED? Yes, there is a tiny pinhole cutout next to the power button specifically designed to let the Pi 5's red/green status LED shine through.
