Complete Hardware Package The MaixCAM is designed for immediate deployment out of the box. The back of the custom enclosure houses a crisp 2.3-inch high-definition IPS capacitive touchscreen (552x368 resolution) for live video preview and user interface interaction. Furthermore, it boasts a built-in analog silicon microphone and an onboard PA amplifier capable of driving a 1W speaker for auditory AI applications.
Robust Connectivity and I/O Networking is handled seamlessly by an onboard WiFi 6 and BLE 5.4 module, perfect for AIoT data logging and remote monitoring. For hardware interfacing, the board breaks out a dual 14-pin (2.54mm pitch) header that gives you access to a rich array of peripherals, including I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, and PWM. Note: The GPIO pins operate strictly at 3.3V logic; do not connect 5V devices directly without a level shifter, as this will damage the CPU.
Sleek Enclosure and Mounting The entire system is housed in a rugged black case designed for easy integration. The case measures 62.3mm in width and 44.3mm in height. It includes two mounting slots on the lower tabs spaced 44mm apart. These slots feature a radius of R1.35mm (a 2.7mm diameter, perfect for M2.5 screws), making it incredibly easy to bolt the camera system directly onto custom robotics chassis or production line rails.
