The receptacle pin is a component used for making electrical connections from wire to pogo pin in testing Units and electronics types of equipment. It is also called PCB sockets, Pogo Pin holders, and connector jacks.

A receptacle is a contact device installed in the PCB or test bed, one end has provision for the connection of a pogo pin plug, and the other is solderable to the wire.

R100-3S receptacles are suitable for the P100 series pogo pin. Pogo pins press fit into this holder, you may have to give them a little extra push to get them to the bottom of the holder but once they are seated they stay in place quite nicely.

These receptacles are discrete connectors used for plugging and unplugging pogo pins on PCBs and also have good reliability and versatility. They will function reliably to a minimum of 100 insertion/extraction cycles, usually many more depending on mating pin size, shape, and style. They are mainly used in Test Jigs like ICT(In-Circuit Testing) and FCT(Function Circuit Test).

There are multiple receptacle sizes available for different pogo pin series. This receptacle is suitable only for the P100 Series pogo pin.
