It allows PCB to align in the proper position and orientation on a Bed of Nails for mating connection of high-density pogo pins and test pads for transfer of digital information therebetween. These are great for programming and Test Jig applications.
Guide pins are mainly used to prevent mating Bed of Nails(Pogo pins) and Testing PCB from being damaged due to misalignment when Bed of Nails is connected to Testing PCB during the connectivity process, and also ensure that each pogo pin or connector is aligned properly during the insertion cycle
These GP-2L guide pins come with a 300g force spring-loaded and pointed head, which fits snugly into most standard perf board mounting holes. They are mainly mounted to the bed of nails of the test Jig with a snap-fit. It has a maximum stroke travel of 20mm.
