Therefore, the aviation plug and socket do not refer to a plug and socket of one model. The YP series has different classifications depending on the size of the opening. The number behind the YP represents the size of the hole in the chassis, which is the thread diameter of the socket.
YP connectors can be used for electrical connections between instrumentation and electronic devices or interconnections between wires and cables. YP connectors are stable in electrical conductivity and have a reliable connection due to their locking mechanism with the Bayonet Coupling. A high level of tightness provides protection from dust, moisture and other external influences, which is important for work in extreme conditions. The connector has an anti-corrosion coating on the housing, which significantly increases the service life of the connector, reducing the risk of damage from oxidation. The robust design ensures resistance to mechanical stress, withstanding impacts, vibration and other physical impacts.
This YP36 aviation connector includes a plug for the cable and a socket with a flange for panel mounting. The connector is made of aluminium alloy and has 50 copper, gold-plated contacts, with a cross-section of 1.5mm and 2mm. Allows switching voltage up to 250v and current up to 1A, as well as signals at a frequency of 10 to 2300 Hz.
