Unlike the analog version which requires tedious micro-soldering to wire a VTX, the BLADE V2 Digital is designed for the modern HD pilot. It features a dedicated "HD-UNIT" socket on the side of the board. Simply use the included wiring harnesses to plug your DJI O3 Air Unit, original DJI Air Unit, Caddx Vista, Walksnail Avatar, or HDZero VTX directly into the flight controller. Furthermore, the FC features a powerful, dedicated 10V BEC specifically engineered to power these power-hungry digital transmitters reliably, preventing mid-air video reboots.
Next-Generation Processing & Ultra-Clean Gyro At the heart of the flight controller is the high-performance STM32 F722 MCU, operating at blazing speeds up to 216MHz to guarantee ultra-low loop times. Gyro noise is the enemy of smooth HD footage and tight PID tunes. RUSHFPV utilizes the premium ICM42688P gyroscope, backed by an independent low-noise power supply to ensure pristine rotational data reaches the processor. The 6-layer PCB design physically isolates the sensitive MCU from the heavy electrical interference generated by the ESC below it.
The EXTREME 60A BLHeli_32 Powerhouse Don't let aggressive motor stators or 6S voltage spikes intimidate you. The included EXTREME 60A ESC is designed to handle a continuous 60 Amps per motor, with massive peak bursts up to 80 Amps. Unlike standard ESCs that use older F0 chips, the EXTREME features a dedicated F4 processor running at 200MHz. This allows it to effortlessly handle dynamic PWM frequencies ranging from 24KHz all the way up to 128KHz. This high PWM ceiling results in incredibly smooth, efficient motor operation, virtually eliminating throttle bumps and excessive motor heat.
Armored Design & Modular Architecture The BLADE V2 FC features a hard polycarbonate (PC) case that is highly impact-resistant and easy to disassemble. This shell completely isolates the delicate surface-mount components from conductive carbon fiber dust and wet grass clippings. Connection between the FC and ESC is handled by a highly reliable, locking modular cable, allowing for incredibly fast stack swaps in the field while retaining full-featured direct solder pads on the back for traditional wiring.

Key Applications and Projects
HD Cinewhoops: Integrating perfectly with the DJI O3 Air Unit to capture stabilized 4K footage indoors without messy wiring.
Bando Freestyle Quads: Providing the robust electrical durability and physical impact armor needed to survive hard crashes into concrete.
High-Speed Racers: Delivering ultra-low latency inputs and pristine 128K PWM control for perfectly smooth cornering at maximum throttle.
Unlock New Capabilities (Project Evolution) The 8-Motor Octocopter Cinema Beast: Break away from standard 4-motor builds! The RUSH BLADE V2 flight controller breaks out 8 independent PWM output ports. By upgrading your frame to an X8 configuration (coaxial motors), you can run a secondary 4-in-1 ESC. Connect the first 4 motors to the main EXTREME 60A ESC via the modular harness, and wire the second ESC directly to the M5-M8 pads on the flight controller. You now have a redundant, 8-motor professional camera rig capable of safely returning to home even if an entire motor or propeller fails mid-flight!

Q: What Betaflight firmware target should I use for the Digital FC? The specific Betaflight firmware target is RUSH_BLADE_F7_HD. The unified target is STM32F7X2.
Q: Can I use this with an analog VTX and camera? While you can physically wire an analog system to the 5V and video pads, this board lacks the AT7456E OSD chip found on the analog version. This means you will not have Betaflight OSD overlay (battery voltage, crosshair, warnings) on your analog video feed. It is highly recommended to use the Analog version of this stack for analog builds.
Q: Does the ESC require throttle calibration? If you are using DSHOT protocols in Betaflight, there is no need to calibrate the throttle. If using standard PWM/Multishot, calibration is required.
Q: What is the maximum voltage this stack can handle? Both the Flight Controller's BEC and the EXTREME 60A ESC are rated to handle up to 36V, making them fully compatible with 3S through 6S LiPo batteries.
Q: What are the UARTs used for? The FC has 5 UARTs. UARTs are used to connect serial devices like SBUS/CRSF receivers, GPS modules, HD VTX MSP canvas mode (DJI/Walksnail), and Bluetooth modules.
Q: Do I need to install a capacitor? Yes. It is highly recommended to connect a Low ESR capacitor (35V 470uF or above) in parallel at the XT60 pads to filter out voltage spikes and electrical noise.
Q: How do I put the flight controller into DFU mode for a firmware flash? If it's your first time or it is bricked, short the physical BOOT pad on the FC while plugging it into your PC via USB. You can also select the "activate boot loader / DFU" option in the Betaflight Setup menu.
Q: My PC isn't recognizing the FC in DFU mode. What do I do? You likely need to update the drivers. Download and open the Zadig tool, put the FC in DFU mode, select "STM32 BOOTLOADER" from the device list, set the driver to "WinUSB", and click "Reinstall Driver".
Q: What does the Demag Compensation setting in the ESC do? Demag compensation protects the motor from stalling caused by long winding demagnetization times after commutation. If you experience motor stuttering on quick throttle punches, turning this setting to Low or High can prevent sync loss.
Q: What PWM frequency should I run on the EXTREME 60A ESC? The F4 processor allows programmable frequencies from 24KHz up to 128KHz. Higher PWM frequencies can make motors run much smoother and move disturbing throttle bumps to less sensitive RPM ranges. 48KHz or 96KHz are common starting points.
Q: Can I run 8 motors with this flight controller? Yes, the FC breaks out 8 total PWM motor/servo output pads (M1 through M8), allowing for X8 Coaxial or true Octocopter configurations.
Q: How much current can the 5V BEC supply? The onboard synchronous rectifier BEC provides a highly stable 5V output at up to 3 Amps, which is plenty of power for receivers, LEDs, and GPS modules.
Q: What does the "Brake On Stop" ESC feature do? When enabled, it applies a braking force to the motor when the throttle reaches zero. This is primarily intended for fixed-wing crafts with folding propellers, not standard freestyle quadcopters.
Q: Is there an onboard barometer? Yes, the RUSH BLADE V2 flight controller features a built-in BMP280 barometer for altitude tracking and GPS rescue features.
Q: Does the ESC provide telemetry data? Yes, by wiring the "TELE" pin from the ESC to an open RX UART on the flight controller, the ESC will transmit real-time telemetry including RPM, temperature, and current draw.
Q: Are the motor direction settings configurable without re-soldering wires? Yes, using the BLHeli_32 configurator, you can set the motor direction to Forward, Reverse, Bidirectional, or Bidirectional Reversed entirely through software.
