FrSky XM Plus is designed to fit into the smallest with space-saving and lightweight in mind to fit into the smallest of drones, Frsky's XM Micro Ultra-Light 16 Channel receiver may be the smallest of the FrSky range, but it's no lightweight when it comes to performance! The small size and low power make it perfect for building tiny drones and for small-sized robot applications.

This FrSky XM Plus is similar to the XM in almost every way except for two key areas - diversity and dimensions. The XM Plus has a diversity setup (antenna diversity) and a slightly larger footprint, which makes it different from the XM. The XM+ is the obvious choice between XM Plus and the XM due to the diversity functionality. But if you are extremely low on space, get the XM+. The range is similar in either case as the receiver has only antenna diversity, which is only slightly better than a single antenna, unlike real diversity, which provides much better coverage based on the antenna placement and alignment.

Boasting no less than 16 channels, failsafe, and up to 600m range, the XM is compatible with FrSky's D16 mode found on Taranis X9D, X9D Plus, X9E, Q X7, and Horus transmitters as well as external modules, so the full programming power of FrSky's operating systems can be at your fingertips. Can be also be used with our Multiprotocol Transmitter after changing the firmware for FrSky legacy firmware.

Setup Tips:

Please note the XM Rx doesn’t have an S.Port (only SBUS for control signals), so they can’t be used for telemetry setups.
FrSky XM+ Receivers are now coming installed with ACCST 2.0 firmware. This is not compatible with ACCST 1.0 controllers, and firmware updates will be required if there is a firmware mismatch. Firmware can be found here (Select history firmware download for ACCST 1.0 firmware).
