These Ultrasonic sensors work in a similar way to radar and sonar systems. They do not require much electrical power to run, making them ideal for battery-powered applications. The sensor consists of two parts transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter emits high-frequency sound waves, and the receiver processes the echo that results from that signal bouncing back from an object. 

PB-PB-ME007YS series Modules are anti-water probes designed with 100cm wire length and snap fitting easy to install and built-in high-precision ranging algorithm for high accuracy with mm level resolution, it has a 28cm blind area, and short to long distance detection is 28cm to 450cm measuring range, with UART output, and both Sensor and Probe adopt a compact, sturdy PVC housing, meeting the IP67 water intrusion standard. Best suitable for Solid level Monitoring, robot obstacle avoidance and automatic control, Horizontal distance sensing, object proximity, presence detection, and car parking management system applications.
