This Mega 2560 R3 Sensor Shield V2.0 is designed to expand the capabilities of the Mega 2560 by providing an intuitive and organised layout for connecting a wide variety of modules and sensors. With support for 54 digital I/O pins and 16 analogue inputs, this shield brings ease and efficiency to your prototyping and development tasks. This sensor shield simplifies wiring and reduces complexity—just plug in standard 3-pin sensor cables and start building without messy jumper wires.
This shield includes dedicated interfaces for Bluetooth modules, SD card modules, APC220 RF modules, ultrasonic sensors, and servo motors—making it ideal for robotics, automation systems, and wireless communication applications. With PCB Immersion Gold processing, the shield ensures long-term durability and optimal signal conductivity. Two power input options allow the “V” pins on the digital I/O ports to be powered either from the Mega 2560 onboard 5V regulator or from an external power supply via a terminal block, which is especially useful when connecting multiple servos or high-power components. The analogue interface pins remain powered from the Mega2560 regulated output to reduce electrical noise for precise signal handling.

Wiring & Safety Guide
CRITICAL: If driving motors or servos, remove the power jumper cap and connect an external 5V/6V high-current power supply to the blue terminal block. Trying to drive motors through the Arduino's onboard regulator will overheat the board.
Bluetooth/APC220: When uploading code to the Mega, disconnect any Bluetooth modules connected to the TX/RX pins to avoid upload errors.
