The reliable alternative to expensive levelling probes. Genuine Geeetech V3.2 features an updated Hall Effect sensor for consistent Z-homing on glass, metal, or magnetic beds.
Perfect first layers, every single time. Manual bed levelling is the #1 frustration in 3D printing. The Geeetech 3D Touch V3.2 eliminates this headache by automatically probing your print bed at multiple points to create a digital mesh. The printer then adjusts the Z-axis in real-time while printing, compensating for any warp or tilt. Unlike inductive sensors that only work on metal, this Mechanical Hall Effect sensor works on Glass, PEI, Magnetic, and Aluminum beds.
Why V3.2? The Geeetech Advantage. While generic "white label" 3D touches look similar, they often suffer from "sticky pin" issues or poor repeatability. This Genuine Geeetech V3.2 unit features an optimised internal structure and a high-sensitivity Hall sensor, ensuring the standard deviation of probing accuracy is within 0.005mm. It’s the smart choice for reliability without the Antclabs price tag.
Specifications
Model: Geeetech 3D Touch V3.2.
Sensor Type: Hall Effect (Physical Touch).
Voltage: 5V DC.
Current: 15mA (Standby) / 300mA (Deploy).
Probe Material: Polycarbonate (PC).
Accuracy: Standard Deviation approx 0.005mm.
Wiring: Standard 3-Pin (Servo) + 2-Pin (Z-Min) interface.
Compatibility & Platform Support
Printers: Universal. Works with Ender 3 (V2/Pro/Max), CR-10, Geeetech A10/A20, Anycubic Mega (with adapter), and custom builds.
Mainboards: Wide Support. Compatible with Creality 4.2.2/4.2.7, SKR Mini E3, MKS Gen L, and any board with a Servo/Probe port.
Firmware: Marlin, Klipper, RepRap.
Key Applications & Projects
Warped Bed Rescue: If your aluminium bed is shaped like a bowl (common on Ender 3), this sensor maps the curve and lets you print flawlessly across the whole surface.
Glass Bed Upgrade: Since it touches the surface physically, it detects the top of your glass plate perfectly (unlike inductive probes).
Swappable Build Plates: Switch between Smooth PEI and Textured PEI without re-levelling manually.
Virtual Technician: Wiring & Safety ⚠️
Wiring Colours:
3-Pin (Servo): Brown (GND), Red (+5V), Orange (Control Signal).
2-Pin (Z-Stop): Black (GND), White (Z-Min Signal).
Warning: Check your mainboard pinout! Some boards swap Ground and 5V. Plugging it in backwards can fry the sensor or board.
Mounting: The sensor must be mounted so the tip (when retracted) is higher than your nozzle, but lower than the nozzle when deployed.
Firmware: You must update your firmware (Marlin/Klipper) to enable BLTOUCH or 3D_TOUCH features. It is not plug-and-play without code changes.
Accessories
Included in the Package:
1 x Geeetech 3D Touch V3.2 Sensor
1 x 1-Meter Extension Cable
2 x M3 Screws & Nuts
1 x 2-Pin & 3-Pin Connector housing (Dupont)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is this the same as a BLTouch? Functionally, yes. It uses the same firmware settings (#define BLTOUCH in Marlin) and wiring logic. The internal Hall Effect mechanism is similar but comes at a more affordable price point.
What is the difference between V3.2 and the older V3.0? V3.2 features an optimised structural design that reduces probe vibration, resulting in higher accuracy (Standard Deviation ~0.005mm) compared to the older versions.
Will it work on my Ender 3 V2? Yes. You will need a mounting bracket (printable from Thingiverse), and you must flash the "BLTouch" firmware to your printer.
Does it work on Glass beds? Yes! It works on any surface (Glass, PEI, Tape, Metal) because it physically touches the bed to trigger.
Why is the red light flashing continuously? A flashing red light indicates an Alarm State. This happens if the probe cannot deploy/stow (obstruction) or if the self-test fails. Reset the printer or send M280 P0 S160 to release the alarm.
Is the plastic probe durable? Yes, the polycarbonate pin is flexible. It is designed to bend slightly if it crashes, protecting the sensor body. If it snaps, the sensor usually still works if you replace the pin.
Do I need to remove my Z-axis limit switch? Yes. The 3D Touch replaces the physical Z-limit switch. The printer uses the probe to find "Z=0" (Home).
What is "Z-Offset" and why do I need it? The sensor triggers before the nozzle hits the bed. The Z-Offset is the distance between the probe trigger point and the nozzle tip. You must calibrate this in the printer menu to get the perfect first-layer squish.
Can I use this with Klipper? Yes, Klipper fully supports this sensor using the [bltouch] configuration section.
Are the cables long enough for a CR-10? It includes a ~1M cable, which is enough for Ender 3. For larger printers like the CR-10 S5, you may need to extend the wires.
Why is the probe not deploying? Check the small screw on the top of the unit. It adjusts the magnetic force. If it's too tight or too loose, the pin won't drop. Adjust it slightly (1/4 turn) until it moves freely.
What is the correct mounting height? When the probe is retracted, the tip should be approx 2-3mm higher than the nozzle tip. When deployed, it must be lower than the nozzle.
Can I use this on a Geeetech A10/A20? Yes, this is the official sensor for those machines. Most have a dedicated "3D Touch" port on the breakout board.
How do I test the accuracy? Use the Marlin command M48 (Probe Repeatability Test). A good unit should show a standard deviation of < 0.01mm.
Does it support 3.3V logic (Raspberry Pi/Due)? It is designed for 5V. While 3.3V logic might work for the signal, the power supply pin must be 5V.
My nozzle crashes into the bed before the probe triggers! Your mounting is too high. Lower the sensor mount so the probe triggers earlier.
Does this work with SKR Mini E3 boards? Yes. You can plug the 3-pin into the "Probe" port and the 2-pin into the "Z-Stop" port, or use the dedicated 5-pin "Z-Probe" header if available.
Why does it deploy and stow 3 times on startup? That is the Self-Test. It confirms the pin can move freely. If it fails this test, it will enter Alarm mode (flashing red).
Can I paint the probe tip? Do not paint the pin shaft! Paint adds thickness and friction, which will cause the probe to get stuck.
Is it affected by magnets in the bed? Usually, no, unless the magnets are extremely strong and directly under the probe point. The Hall sensor is shielded, but keep it away from large motor magnets.
