18650 Li-ion Battery Capacity Tester 1-Channel Automatic Charge Discharge Module Digital Type-C Auto

18650 Lithium Batteries are a great and popular portable power source. You can group them in different combinations to get the output voltage and capacity as per your requirement. But there are a lot of models and capacities. Rated capacities are sometimes not true, and you can use this module to find out the actual battery capacity. Just insert an 18650 battery into the module and start the discharge process. The module will output the battery capacity after some time. How this module calculates the battery capacity is simple and smart. It discharges the battery through a fixed high-power resistor load and constantly monitors the output voltage and current. When the battery is completely discharged, the module will accumulate the total energy discharged and display the actual battery capacity.

Knowing the actual battery capacity is very useful to identify fake/original batteries and to find out the exact battery capacity. Even if you have an original battery, you can use this module to estimate the battery life and capacity.

This battery tester supports independent 1-channel internal resistance and capacity measurements, allowing you to accurately assess your batteries. It features a charging function with automatic cutoff when the batteries are fully charged, ensuring their safety and longevity. The discharge function automatically stops when predetermined conditions are met, preventing over-discharging.In automatic charging mode, it supports up to 9 cycles of charging and discharging, optimising battery performance. The compact design of the 18650 battery holder supports flat-top batteries and allows for easy measurement (compatible with batteries with discharge voltage between 2.5V and 3.5V, and charging voltage of 4.2V).

This battery tester operates on a DC5V power supply and is equipped with a dual  18650 battery holder, one is for powering up the board through the battery and another is for Testing the battery and also dual Type-C ports (power cord not included, compatible with C-type phone cables), a one Type-C port is for power supply to the board and another Type-C port is for external discharge Interface. It utilises a direct current two-wire method for internal resistance measurement and provides status indicators.

Note:

• This is a 1-Channel Tester. The Right Slot tests the battery. The Left Slot is an optional power source for portable use.
• Power supply with Type --C supports only with a normal Charger; High power or Quick Charger is not supported
• The automatic charging and discharging function is not suitable for lithium-ion phosphate batteries.
• To change the language to English, kindly press and hold the On/OFF and Adjust(S) Buttons simultaneously, then power up the board through the C-type power supply Interface.
