This is a 4 x 1 Dot Matrix Display that can be used to display text and numbers. Special effects like animations, sprite, scolling, etc can be achieved for professional applications. Dot Matrix Displays are preffered for their low power consumption, high contrast and viewing angles compared to all other display technologies. They are the preferred display option for notice boards, alerts, message displays, welcome messages, etc
This module integrates a MAX7219 driver IC along with a 4x1 Dot Matrix Display to make it easy to interface a microcontroller with it. You can drive the display from the SPI port of your microcontroller like Arduino, Raspberry pi, etc You will be able to add some great cool animation to your upcoming project by using this dot matrix display module. The individual module contains 88 LEDs, each of which is precisely controlled by the MAX7219 driver to produce the desired colour pattern. The main advantage of using this is that users will be able to control all 64 LEDs by simply connecting three output communication wires to microcontrollers such as Arduino, etc.
The display is large enough to display words and sentences with scolling effects. Multiple disp
lays can be chained with one another to achine a large grid of displays.
Note this module is available in different colors - Blue, Green, Red and RGB too. Check out of website www.probots.co.in for more modules and order the one required for your project.
