1. Are the binding posts connected to the power rails automatically? No. This is a common misconception. You must run a short wire from the hole in the binding post shaft to the +/- rail you want to power.

2. Can I detach the breadboards from the metal plate? Yes, they are screwed on (or stuck on with strong adhesive depending on the batch), but the plate is what gives it stability.

3. Does it fit banana plugs? Yes! The top caps of the binding posts unscrew to reveal a 4mm socket for standard banana plugs.
