High-efficiency adjustable DC-DC buck module. Supports a wide input range from 5V to 80V, delivering up to 0.8A output current with built-in thermal and short-circuit protection.

Whether you are tapping into a 48V e-bike battery or a 24V industrial rail, this module provides the precision control needed to safely power 5V or 12V microcontrollers and sensors.
Probots™ ProSpec Grade High-Voltage Integrity Unlike generic buck converters limited to 35V or 40V, the XL7015 is Probots™ ProSpec Grade , featuring a maximum input tolerance of 80V. It utilizes a high-frequency switching architecture (150KHz) to maintain high efficiency even when stepping down from extreme voltages. The board is designed with large VIN and VOUT solder pads and a precision W103 multi-turn potentiometer, allowing you to lock in your desired output voltage with 0.1V accuracy.
Note: In a new module, make sure you set the output voltage before connecting the load. Modules will be set to output high voltage by default.

Probots™ Logic-Safe Setup: Always connect your multimeter to the VOUT/GND pads and adjust the potentiometer before connecting your sensitive electronics. This ensures your project never sees an accidental over-voltage spike.
Pro Tip: For input voltages above 60V, we recommend adding a small electrolytic capacitor across the VIN and GND pads to absorb any initial voltage ripples or in-rush current.
