High-performance 2" Blue tri-blade propellers with 3-hole T-mount. Optimised for 1103-1105 motors, providing aggressive 4.0" pitch thrust and PC durability.
Aggressive thrust for the micro-scale. The Gemfan Hulkie 2040 is built for pilots who want their micro quad to feel "locked in." With an aggressive 4.0" pitch, these propellers provide significant "bite" on the air, allowing for rapid recovery from dives and snappy cornering that flatter-pitch props can't match.
Probots™ ProSpec Grade Durability Crafted from high-tensile Polycarbonate (PC), these propellers are Probots™ ProSpec Grade. They are noticeably stiffer than standard 2-inch props, which prevents the blades from "flattening out" at the extremely high RPMs generated by 1103-1105 series motors. This stiffness ensures a consistent linear throttle response, while the 3-hole T-mount system (1.5mm center hole + 2mm side holes) provides a rock-solid mechanical connection to the motor bell.
Diameter: 2.0 Inch (Approx. 52.89mm)
Pitch: 40mm
Blades: 3 (Tri-blade)
Material: Durable Polycarbonate (PC)
Mounting: 3-Hole T-Mount (1.5mm Centre, 5mm M2 spacing)
Hub Thickness: 5.0mm
Weight: 0.85g per propeller
Compatible Motors: 0806, 1103, 1104, 1105 (6000KV - 10000KV+)
2-Inch Racing Drones: High-speed agility for sub-100g racing classes.
Performance Cinewhoops: Provides the extra "lift" needed to carry naked HD cameras on 2-inch frames.
Toothpick Builds: Stiff enough to handle 3S and 4S power on ultralight micro frames.
Unlock New Capabilities (Project Evolution)
Feature Upgrade: The "Hulkie" wingtip design reduces audible noise and improves thrust efficiency over traditional straight-cut 2-inch propellers.
Effort Level: Beginner. Simply press-fit onto the 1.5mm shaft and secure with two M2 screws for maximum safety.
4 x Blue CW (Clockwise) Gemfan 2040 Hulkie Propellers
4 x Blue CCW (Counter-Clockwise) Gemfan 2040 Hulkie Propellers
What does "2040" stand for? "20" is the 2.0-inch diameter, and "40" is the aggressive 4.0-inch pitch.
Will these fit a 1.0mm shaft motor? No, these are designed for 1.5mm shafts.
Do I need to use screws? While the 1.5mm center is a press-fit, we highly recommend using two M2 screws to prevent the prop from flying off at high RPM.
Are these more durable than the 2035 4-blade props? They are stiffer and more aggressive, but being PC, they may snap rather than bend during extremely hard impacts.
What is the "3-hole" mount? It consists of a 1.5mm center hole and two 2mm side holes spaced 5mm apart (T-mount standard).
Can I use these on a 1S Tiny Whoop? No, 1S Whoops usually take 31mm or 40mm props; these are for larger 2-inch brushless frames.
What motors are best? They perform best on 1103 or 1104 motors between 7000KV and 10000KV.
Will these fit a 2.5-inch frame? Yes, they will fit, but you will have less thrust than a native 2.5-inch prop.
Are they factory balanced? Yes, Gemfan Hulkie props are known for excellent dynamic balance out of the box.
How do I identify CW vs CCW? The curved leading edge should face the direction of rotation; CW props usually rotate right-to-left.
Do they come with screws? No, screws are typically sold with the motors or separately.
What length screw should I use? M26 or M27 cup head screws are recommended.
Are they suitable for cinewhoops? Yes, they provide smooth, high-torque lift for stabilized footage.
What is the weight per prop? Approximately 0.85 grams.
Can I use them for "Props-Out"? Yes, simply configure your ESC and Flight Controller to match.
Is polycarbonate better than standard plastic? Yes, PC is much tougher and handles high temperatures and RPMs better.
What colors are available? Standard options include Clear, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Red.
Will they help with prop-wash? The stiff 3-blade design generally improves prop-wash handling over flimsy 2-blade variants.
How do I remove them? Use a prop puller or a thin flat tool to gently pry from the center hub.
Can I use them for long-range? No, 2-blade props are more efficient for long endurance; these are for agility and speed.
