• Does this kit include the Camera?
  No, this is the QD001 Base Kit. The camera is part of the QD002 Expansion Pack, which is sold separately.
• Does it come with batteries?
  No, due to air shipping safety regulations, 18650 batteries are NOT included. You must purchase 2x 18650 Li-Ion cells and a charger separately.
• What are Mecanum wheels?
  They are special wheels with rollers set at 45°. This allows the car to move in any direction (sideways, diagonal, forward) without turning the chassis.
• Is it suitable for beginners?
  Yes! It supports a graphical "Block Coding" interface (similar to Scratch) which is great for kids (Age 10+) or beginners.
• Can I control it with my iPhone?
  Yes, the Acebott App is available for free on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Do I need a soldering iron?
  No, the entire kit is designed for assembly using screws, nuts, and plug-and-play wires. No soldering is needed.
• Can I use a Raspberry Pi instead?
  The chassis physically supports a Pi, but the included motor shield and code are specifically designed for the ESP32.
• How long does the battery last?
  With good quality 2500mAh batteries, you can expect about 45-60 minutes of continuous play time.
• What is Line Tracking mode?
  The car uses infrared sensors underneath to detect a black line on a white floor (tape included) and follow it automatically.
• Why is my car moving weirdly (not sideways)?
  99% of the time, this is due to wrong wheel installation. Check that the rollers on the wheels form an 'X' shape when looked at from above.
• Is the ESP32 pre-programmed?
  It usually comes with factory test code, but we recommend uploading the latest code from the Acebott tutorial to ensure compatibility with the App.
• Does it work with Python?
  Yes, the ESP32 chip supports MicroPython. You can flash Python firmware and code it using Thonny if you prefer that over C++.
