Virtual Technician & Wiring Guide

• Warning - Current Draw: Do NOT power these motors directly from an Arduino 5V pin. You will fry your board. Use an external 12V source.
• Motor Grouping: For skid steering, wire the 3 Left motors in parallel to "Channel A" of your driver, and the 3 Right motors in parallel to "Channel B".
• Polarity Check: Before final assembly, test each motor individually to ensure they all spin "forward" when positive voltage is applied. Inconsistent polarity will cause the robot to fight itself.

  It uses "Skid Steering" (differential drive), similar to a tank. You spin left wheels forward and right wheels backward to turn in place.
• What is the ground clearance?
  Ground clearance is approximately 20-30mm, allowing it to clear small rocks and cables.
• Are assembly tools included?
  Basic Allen keys are usually included, but you may need your own screwdriver and pliers.
• Can I add encoders to the motors?
  The standard motors in this kit do not have rear shafts for encoders. You would need to upgrade the motors to use odometry.
• Is the chassis waterproof?
  No. The motors and aluminum are fine with splashes, but your electronics (Arduino/Drivers) will be exposed unless you add a cover.
• How fast does it go?
