The kit's performance is better than normal 4-wheel drive robot kits, as it comes with high-speed rear-wheel drive plus a front Ackermann steering mechanism and also fits ROS System and Sports Camera. Suitable for building fast robot kits with turning behaviour similar to regular cars. Use this as a mechanical platform and add your custom electronics - microcontroller and driver. Great platform for use with Arduino / Raspberry Pi / etc. Popularly used in robot racing and for autonomous AI car navigation.

Designed with the Ackermann steering principle, the inner wheel should steer for a bigger angle than the outer wheel to allow the vehicle to rotate around the middle point between the rear wheel axis. Ackerman is the difference in turn radius between the front tyres. This effect helps the car turn better through the centre of the turn.

Because of the use of more precious metal parts (bearings, transmission gear, connecting rod, metal motor, steering cup, multi-function bracket, etc.), which are expensive, this kit is costly compared to our other robot kits.

The kits fit the ROS System and Sports Camera. If you plan to use another controller, you will have to drill the holes accordingly.
