As many advanced logic gates, op-amps, and microcontrollers are increasingly available only in surface-mount packages, this adapter allows you to use these components in traditional breadboard environments or DIY project enclosures without needing custom PCB fabrication for every test.
Probots™ ProSpec Grade Precision This adapter is Probots™ ProSpec Grade , featuring a high-quality FR-4 glass fiber substrate with precisely etched solder pads to ensure stable electrical connections. The Double-Sided Design provides maximum utility in a single footprint:
Side A (Front): Features a 1.27mm lead pitch, compatible with common SOP14, SO14, and SOIC14 packages.
Side B (Back): Features a 0.65mm lead pitch, compatible with smaller SSOP14, TSSOP14, and MSOP14 packages.
Output: Both sides route all 14 pins to standard 2.54mm (0.1") pitch holes, perfectly suited for standard male headers and breadboard insertion.

Can I mount chips on both sides at once? No, the through-holes for the DIP headers are shared; you should only mount one component per board.
What is the lead pitch for SOP14? The SOP side features a standard 1.27mm pitch.

Will this fit a standard breadboard? Yes, it converts the SMD pins to standard 2.54mm spacing that fits all breadboards.

Do I need a special iron for the 0.65mm side? A fine-tip soldering iron or hot air station is recommended for the smaller pitch.
What is the row spacing for the DIP output? The rows are spaced at 15.24mm (0.6 inches).
Are the pads tin-plated? Yes, the pads feature high-quality plating for easy solder wetting.
