ProMax 22MM Emergency Stop Switch Mushroom Head Waterproof Metal 1 pole

Emergency stop switch is usually a manually controlled push switch (the button is red), press to lock and rotate to release the red mushroom head button switch, connect the control circuit of the equipment in series, used to directly disconnect the power of the control circuit in an emergency, to quickly stop the equipment to avoid abnormal operation.

This Latching Metal Pushbutton is a perfect choice if you are in need of a heavy-duty push-button. These Mushroom Head metal Emergency Stop push buttons are very tough, panel-mount latching switches. It is a DPDT with 22mm threading. 

This button is perfect for safety measures for quickly disconnecting electrical power to a particular piece of equipment, or to an entire facility, in the event of an emergency. The overall length (including leads) is 2" and has small solder lugs for connection. These Latching buttons are rated up to 3A and 250VAC.

Emergency stop buttons are wired in series with the control circuit of machinery equipment. When pushing the mushroom head, the emergency stop button will break the circuit of connected equipment and remove the power supply that keeps the circuit energised.

This is a SPST Single-pole switch. It has one pole with common,NO and NC terminals. This allows you to control up to 1 device or load wire independently. If you use a SPST switch for input power or battery power input you can switch both power wires using this switch for complete power isolation when the switch is off.

Emergency Stop Switch Interface Guide:

1. The switch is locked, and the device starts. The switch is reset, and the device is turned off.

The wiring way is as follows: First step, the positive pole of the power is connected to the C pin of the switch, The second step, the negative pole of the power is connected to the negative pole of the device, in the third step, the positive pole of the device is connected to the NO of the switch.
