LockIT LMS090-11 Magnetic Sensors is an industrial-grade magnetic contact switch. It is popularly used in door/window status detection. The sensor consists of two parts - a magnet and a reed Switch. The magnet can be secured to the door and the reed sensor to the door frame. When the magnet is within the range of the reed sensor(door closed), the reed sensor detects it and indicates the output by closing the reed switch.

The magnet and reed switch is enclosed in durable Metal Housing and is designed for surface mounting with a screw or adhesive.

It comes with a normally open/close output - the output of the sensor is open/closed with the door open and the output is open/closed with the door closed respectively.

These Magnetic sensors are suitable for a wide range of applications like - access control systems, rolling shutter alarms, window alarms, equipment & control panel door detection, office/home automation, etc. Also Suitable for use in interior doors, cabinets, entrance doors, etc. Outputs can be directly connected to a microcontroller PLC, Controller, Access Control System, etc. Relays/Contactors can be used to directly control loads like - buzzers, hooters, strobe lights, etc without using a controller in between.
