The Mamba F65 is built for pilots who refuse to compromise on power. With a continuous current rating of 65A per channel and a blistering 75A burst capability (for up to 10 seconds), this ESC provides enormous headroom for the most power-hungry, low-KV motors running on 6S LiPo batteries. To ensure this massive power is delivered safely and consistently, the board is populated with premium MOSFETs and includes integrated TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) protection. This hardware-level safeguard absorbs catastrophic voltage spikes during hard crashes or aggressive braking (active freewheeling), preventing your sensitive electronics from being fried.
The EMI Firewall & Thermal Armor
High-current switching generates immense heat and "noisy" electromagnetic interference (EMI) that can cripple your flight controller's gyroscope or cause static in your analog video feed. Diatone has solved this by capping the ESC with an integrated aluminum EMI Firewall plate. This metal shield acts as a massive thermal heat sink to keep the drive ICs cool during extended punch-outs, while simultaneously creating a physical Faraday cage to block RF noise from bleeding up into your flight controller stack.
Advanced 32-Bit 128KHz PWM Processing
At the heart of the Mamba F65 is a powerful 32-bit microprocessor running the latest BLHeli_32 firmware. This unlocks a suite of advanced capabilities, most notably variable PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) frequencies ranging from 24KHz all the way up to 128KHz. By increasing the PWM frequency, the ESC drives the motors with incredibly high-resolution electrical pulses. For the pilot, this translates into unmatched motor smoothness, quieter operation, slightly increased flight times, and significantly reduced mid-throttle oscillations. It seamlessly supports the fastest digital communication protocols, including Dshot300, Dshot600, and Dshot1200.

Key Applications and Projects
Aggressive 5-Inch Bando Bashers: Delivering the bulletproof durability and raw amp-bursts required to quickly recover from heavy gravity dives in concrete environments.
High-Speed Professional Racing: Utilizing 128K PWM and Dshot1200 for microsecond-level latency and insanely smooth cornering at maximum throttle.
Heavy-Lift Cinematic Rigs: Providing a cool-running, ultra-reliable power foundation for 7-inch or 8-inch drones carrying heavy cinema cameras.
Unlock New Capabilities (Project Evolution)
The 7-Inch Long-Range Mountain Surfer: Stop worrying about burning an ESC mid-flight. Upgrade your standard 5-inch rig to a 7-inch deadcat frame for cinematic exploration. Because the Mamba F65 can comfortably sustain 65A on 6S, you can confidently bolt on large 2806.5 stators spinning aggressive 7-inch bi-blade props. By enabling Bi-Directional DSHOT on this 32-bit ESC and utilizing Betaflight's RPM filtering, your flight controller will know the exact RPM of those massive props, allowing it to surgically remove frame resonance. You will achieve silky-smooth, jello-free footage while diving down the backside of a mountain ridge!
Package Includes:
1x Diatone Mamba F65 128K 3-6S BLHeli_32 4-in-1 ESC
1x High-Frequency 470uF / 35V Capacitor
1x AMASS Original XT60 Connector Pigtail
2x 8-pin SH1.0 ESC-to-FC Connection Cables
5x Hard Rubber Dampers
5x Soft Silicone Dampers
Q: What is the benefit of 128K PWM frequency? A higher PWM frequency (up to 128KHz) provides much smoother motor operation, reduces electrical motor noise, and can improve overall battery efficiency. It is especially beneficial for high-KV motors and cinematic flying where vibration must be minimized.
Q: Does this ESC require throttle calibration? If you are using digital DSHOT protocols (Dshot300, Dshot600, or Dshot1200), throttle calibration is completely unnecessary and ignored by the ESC.
Q: What input voltage can this ESC handle? It is designed to handle 3S to 6S LiPo batteries safely (12.6V to 25.2V fully charged).
Q: Does the Mamba F65 have an onboard BEC to power my flight controller? No. This ESC does not have a Battery Eliminator Circuit (BEC). Your flight controller must have its own internal BEC to drop the raw battery voltage down to 5V for the MCU and peripherals.
Q: What does the silver metal plate do? The metal plate is an EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) Firewall. It acts as both a primary heat spreader to cool the MOSFETs and a Faraday cage to prevent the ESC's electrical switching noise from interfering with the flight controller's sensitive gyroscope mounted above it.
Q: Should I remove the metal EMI Firewall? No. It is factory-installed using thermal adhesive pads directly over the critical heat-generating components. Removing it will void your warranty and likely cause the ESC to overheat and fail.
Q: Do I need to solder a capacitor to this ESC? Yes. You must solder the included 470uF/35V Low-ESR capacitor directly to the main battery input pads (VCC and GND). The capacitor absorbs voltage spikes during active braking and prevents the TVS diode and MOSFETs from being destroyed.
Q: What is TVS Protection? Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) is an onboard hardware diode that absorbs massive, instantaneous voltage spikes that occur during crashes or when rapidly cutting the throttle, drastically increasing the lifespan of the ESC.
Q: Does this support Bi-Directional DSHOT? Yes. Because it runs BLHeli_32, it natively supports Bi-Directional DSHOT, which is required to use advanced RPM Filtering in Betaflight.
Q: What is the mounting hole pattern? It uses the industry-standard 30.5mm x 30.5mm mounting pattern with M3 clearance holes.
Q: How do I change motor direction? You do not need to unsolder and swap the motor wires. You can easily reverse the motor direction through the BLHeliSuite32 software configurator on your PC.
Q: Does this ESC have a current sensor? Yes, it features an onboard analog current sensor. You can route the current sensor data to your flight controller via the 8-pin wiring harness to view your real-time Amp draw and mAh consumed on your OSD.
Q: How do I connect the ESC to the flight controller? You use the included 8-pin SH1.0 JST cable. Ensure the pinout of the cable matches the pinout of your specific flight controller (GND, VCC, Motor 1, Motor 2, Motor 3, Motor 4, Current, Telemetry). If they do not match, you must carefully repin the plastic connector.
Q: What is the ESC telemetry wire used for? The ESC telemetry wire sends digital data (like motor RPM, ESC temperature, and voltage) back to a spare UART RX pad on your flight controller, which can then be displayed on your video feed.
Q: Can I use this ESC on a 7-inch or 8-inch drone? Yes, a 65A continuous / 75A burst rating is exceptionally high and provides more than enough headroom for the heavy loads generated by large 7-inch or 8-inch propellers.
Q: Why do my motors twitch but not spin when I arm? Twitching usually indicates that one of the three motor wires is poorly soldered, broken, or disconnected. Inspect your solder joints on the ESC motor pads carefully.
