ProMax PM150-PRO Handheld Digital Oscilloscope 1 Channel ₹8,999.00 Industrial Aluminum Extrusion Abandon cheap, brittle ABS plastic boxes that flex when you press a button. The main body of this ProMax enclosure is formed from a thick, extruded aluminum profile. It features an ingenious two-part design: the top and bottom halves slide together via internal interlocking rails. This creates a remarkably rigid, seamless metal tube that protects your delicate wiring from crushing impacts in heavy-duty workshop environments.
Precision 16mm Layout Getting four holes perfectly aligned in a straight line with a hand drill is incredibly frustrating. This enclosure does the hard work for you. It comes factory-machined with four flawless 16mm diameter cutouts, spaced exactly 33mm apart (center-to-center). This pitch distance ensures that standard 16mm metal push buttons, illuminated rotary switches, and even emergency stop mushrooms have plenty of clearance so their bezels do not overlap.
Integrated Cable Management & Mounting A professional control box needs professional wiring. The kit includes two rugged plastic end caps featuring integrated mounting flanges. You can easily bolt this entire enclosure to an aluminum extrusion frame, a workbench, or a dashboard. One of the end caps features a pre-cut 12mm hole designed to perfectly accept the included waterproof cable gland. This gland tightly grips your exiting wire bundle, providing essential strain relief so pulling on the cable doesn't rip the wires off the back of your switches.

Key Applications and Projects
Custom CNC Control Pendants: Wiring four switches (Start, Pause, Stop, Spindle On) into this box and routing a long spiral cable back to your GRBL/Mach3 controller for a handheld machine interface.
Sim-Racing Button Boxes: Mounting this sleek aluminum box to your racing wheel base to control in-game headlights, wipers, ignition, and pit-limiters.
Industrial Automation Terminals: Creating an operator station for a conveyor belt system or factory packaging machine.
Unlock New Capabilities (Project Evolution) The Universal USB Macro Keyboard: Don't limit this box to heavy machinery; turn it into the ultimate PC productivity tool! Buy four 16mm momentary LED push buttons and a cheap "Zero Delay USB Arcade Encoder" board. Wire the four buttons to the encoder board and stuff it inside this aluminum enclosure. Route the USB cable out through the cable gland. You can now use free software like AutoHotkey to map these four heavy-duty metal buttons to complex PC macros—like muting your microphone in Discord, switching OBS streaming scenes, or instantly saving your video editing timeline!
1 x Extruded Aluminum Body (Top and Bottom Halves)
2 x Plastic Mounting End Caps
1 x PG7 Strain Relief Cable Gland
8 x End Cap Assembly Screws

1. What diameter are the four pre-drilled holes? The holes are exactly 16mm in diameter, designed exclusively for the industry-standard 16mm switch ecosystem.
2. How many holes are on this enclosure? This specific model features 4 holes.
3. What is the distance between each hole? The holes are spaced 33mm apart, measured from the exact center of one hole to the exact center of the next.
4. What material is the silver box made of? The main tubular body of the enclosure is made from extruded aluminum, providing excellent rigidity and a premium finish.
5. What material are the grey/black end caps made of? The flanged end caps are injection-molded from a durable, high-impact plastic.
6. Does this include the actual push buttons? No. This listing is for the bare enclosure, end caps, and cable gland only. You must purchase your own 16mm switches to populate the holes.
7. Can I fit 19mm or 22mm switches in this box? No. The holes are pre-cut to 16mm. Attempting to enlarge the holes to 22mm is not recommended, as the inner width clearance (31mm) may not accommodate the larger switch bodies.
8. What is the total length of the completely assembled box? Measuring from the tip of one mounting flange to the tip of the other, the total assembled length is approximately 188.7mm.
9. What is the length of just the aluminum section? The aluminum extrusion itself measures exactly 150mm in length.
10. How do you open the box to wire the switches? Remove the screws from the end caps and pull the end caps off. The aluminum body consists of a top plate and a bottom "U" channel that slide together on interlocking rails. You simply slide them apart to access the wiring.
11. Is this enclosure waterproof? No. While the included cable gland provides a tight seal for the wire exit, the sliding joints of the aluminum extrusion and the unsealed switch holes mean this box is not IP67 waterproof. It is intended for indoor or covered industrial use.
12. What size is the hole on the end cap for the cable gland? The end cap features a 12mm hole, which perfectly fits the included PG7-sized cable gland.
13. Are the two end caps interchangeable? Yes, they are physically identical except that one has the 12mm knockout hole for the cable gland removed. You can orient the cable exit to the left or right side of your panel based on your preference.
14. What are the external width and height dimensions? The box has an overall external width of roughly 45mm and a height of 50mm (including the end caps).
15. What is the internal clearance inside the box? The internal cavity is approximately 31mm wide and 42mm tall. Always check the depth of your chosen 16mm switches to ensure their rear pins will not bottom out against the floor of the box.
16. How do I mount this box to a surface? The plastic end caps feature extended flanges with slotted mounting holes. You simply drive screws or bolts through these slots into your table, dashboard, or aluminum extrusion frame.
17. Can I drill extra holes into the aluminum? Yes. Because it is aluminum, you can easily drill custom holes into the flat side panels if you need to add an extra status LED or a tiny toggle switch.
18. Do I need to ground the aluminum casing? If you are passing high-voltage AC mains power (e.g., 110V or 220V) through the switches inside this box, safety regulations dictate that the conductive metal chassis must be bonded to earth ground to prevent electric shock in the event of an internal short circuit.
19. What kind of wire should I use inside the box? Flexible 22AWG or 20AWG silicone wire is highly recommended. Thick, stiff PVC wire can be difficult to cram into the tight 31mm internal space once all four switches are installed.
20. Will an Arduino Nano fit inside this box alongside the switches? It is extremely tight, but possible. An Arduino Nano is roughly 18mm wide, meaning it can lay flat on the bottom floor of the 31mm wide cavity, passing beneath the wiring of the switches above it. Ensure it is wrapped in Kapton tape or heat shrink so it does not short out against the aluminum floor.
