These high-power, environmentally sealed AMP connectors for harsh-environment wire-to-wire connections are designed to withstand the extreme operating conditions of applications in the trucking, agricultural, mining, construction, and marine industries. The series is constructed of heavy-duty, shock- and vibration-resistant thermoplastic, employs the company’s field-proven contacts, which are rated for 10A , has a slide lock for easy mating and confirms contact alignment and retention, and is available with IP68 protection against dust, dirt, and moisture. 

This is an assorted kit of regularly used AMP connectors from 2 Pin to 4Pin. It comes with compatible crimp pins which can be used to make your own custom cables and harness. 

AMP Superseal plug housings are designed for cable to cable connections. Their seals provide a robust seal with a high degree of environmental protection. Safe, versatile and reliable, AMP connector housings are made from a thermoplastic which is ideal for automotive applications. You will not struggle for choice as the AMP plugs are available in 12 to 4 pin options. The housings feature an integrated latch for mating.

Durability: No electrical or mechanical defects after 100 cycles of engagement and disengagement.

Vibration: No unlocking or unmating and exhibits no mechanical or physical damage after sinusoidal vibration levels of 20 G’s at 10 to 2000 Hz in each of the three mutually perpendicular planes. No electrical discontinuities longer than 1 microsecond.

Physical Shock: No unlocking, unmating, or other unsatisfactory result during or after 50 G’s in each of three mutually perpendicular planes. No electrical discontinuities longer than 1 microsecond. MIL-STD 202, Method 213, Condition “C”.

Fluid Resistance: Connectors show no damage when exposed to most fluids used in industrial applications.

Insulation Resistance: 1000 megohms minimum at 25° C.

Moisture Resistance: Properly wired and mated connections will withstand immersion under three feet of water without loss of electronic qualities or leakage.

Dielectric Withstanding Voltage: Current leakage less than 2 milliamps at 1500 VAC.

Thermal Cycle: No cracking, chipping or leaking after 20 test cycles from -55° C to +125° C.
