Diagnose your USB power easily! This 8-in-1 inline USB tester features a clear LCD screen displaying Voltage (4-30V), Current (0-5A), Power (0-150W), capacity, time, and internal temperature. Features 9 memory groups for tracking battery health.
Take the guesswork out of charging. Have you ever wondered why your phone is charging slowly, or if that cheap gas station power bank actually has the 10,000mAh capacity it claims? The 8-in-1 USB Tester gives you absolute visibility into your power connections. It features a standard USB-A input and output. Simply plug it into your charger, and plug your device's cable into the other end. The backlit LCD instantly springs to life, displaying exactly what is happening inside the wire.
Eight Parameters at a Glance This device goes far beyond a simple voltmeter. The high-contrast screen actively calculates and displays eight distinct pieces of data simultaneously:
Voltage (V): Between DC 4-30V
Current (A): Between 0-5A
Power (W): Real-time wattage up to 150W
Capacity (mAh): Tracks milliamp-hours to measure battery size
Electrical Energy (Wh): Tracks Watt-hours for accurate energy measurement
Time (T): Tracks how long current has been flowing (0-99 hours)
Temperature (C): Internal operating temperature of the tester
Packet Data: 9 selectable memory slots to save your readings
Built-In Memory for Battery Testing To accurately test the capacity of a battery, you need to track the power over several hours. This tester features 9 independent data groups. If you unplug the tester, it doesn't lose your data! It saves the accumulated mAh, Wh, and Time to the current data group. You can use the single tactile button on the top to cycle through the groups, or long-press it for 3 seconds to clear the current group and start a fresh test.
Input/Output Ports: USB Type-A (Male IN, Female OUT)
Voltage Measurement Range: DC 4V - 30V
Current Measurement Range: 0A - 5A
Power Measurement Range: 0W - 150W
Capacity Measurement Range: 0 - 99999 mAh
Energy Measurement Range: 0 - 999.999 Wh
Time Measurement Range: 0 - 99 Hours
Data Storage: 1 to 9 Groups
Diagnosing Bad Cables: Have a drawer full of old USB cables? Plug a phone in and swap cables; the ones that show a much lower Amperage (Current) are degraded and should be thrown away.
Testing Power Bank Capacity: Fully drain a power bank, plug this tester into a wall charger, and charge the power bank through the tester. When it's full, the mAh reading will tell you the true capacity!
Solar Panel Alignment: Plug this into a portable USB solar panel. Angle the panel until you see the real-time Wattage reading peak, ensuring you are capturing the maximum amount of sunlight.
Raspberry Pi/Arduino Power Monitoring: Ensure your single-board computers aren't experiencing voltage drops (dropping below 4.9V) when their CPU is under heavy load.
Unlock New Capabilities (Project Evolution)
Controlled Stress Testing: Pair this USB Tester with a USB Electronic Load module (a device with a big heatsink and adjustable knobs). This allows you to artificially pull specific amounts of current (e.g., exactly 2.0A) through the tester to see if your wall bricks overheat or shut down under heavy, sustained stress!
Package Includes:

What does this device actually do? It acts as an inline digital multimeter. It measures the electricity flowing from a USB port into your device, showing you the voltage, current, and total power consumed.
What is the maximum voltage it can handle? It can safely measure DC 4V to 30V.
What is the maximum current it can measure? It can measure up to 5A of current.
Will this work with Quick Charge (QC 2.0/3.0) devices? Yes, because it supports up to 30V, it can safely pass through and measure the higher 9V and 12V standards used by many fast chargers.
How do I test the capacity of my battery? Start on a fresh data group. Plug the tester into your charger, and plug your fully dead device into the tester. Let it charge to 100%. The "mAh" number on the screen is the capacity of the battery.
What is the button on the top for? The "Reset Key" is used to manage your saved data.
How do I switch data groups? Click the button once to cycle to the next packet data group (from 1 to 9).
How do I reset the numbers back to zero? Press and hold the button for 3 seconds. This will clear the time, Wh, and mAh data for the current group.
If I unplug it, will I lose my data? No, it has built-in non-volatile memory. It will remember your accumulated mAh and time even when it has no power.
What does the "T" mean on the screen? That is the Time display. It tracks the total hours, minutes, and seconds that current has been actively flowing into a device.
What is the difference between mAh and Wh? mAh (milliamp-hours) measures the total electrical charge, while Wh (Watt-hours) measures the total electrical energy, which factors in voltage. Wh is generally a more accurate metric for comparing batteries of different voltages.
Can I use this on a laptop's USB port? Yes, you can plug it into any standard USB-A port on a laptop, desktop, wall charger, or car adapter.
Does it measure negative current (discharge)? No, this is a unidirectional tester. It only measures power flowing from the male "IN" plug to the female "OUT" port.
Will it protect my phone if the charger surges? No. This is a passive measurement tool, not an active surge protector. It will show you the high voltage, but it will not stop it from reaching your device.
Does the tester itself consume a lot of power? No, it uses a very tiny amount of current to run its own LCD screen, which is generally negligible for standard charging tests.
Why is the current (Amps) showing 0.00A when plugged in? If nothing is plugged into the female "OUT" port, or if the connected device is fully charged and not drawing power, the current will read zero.
Can I test USB-C cables with this? The tester has standard USB Type-A ports. To test a USB-C cable, you would need to use a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
What does the temperature display mean? It shows the internal operating temperature of the tester itself in Celsius.
Why does my time tracker stop randomly? The timer only counts up when there is active current flowing. If your phone stops pulling power, the timer pauses automatically.
Can I use this to test solar panels? Yes! It is incredibly useful for solar panels. You can plug it directly into the panel's USB output to monitor exactly how many Watts the panel is producing in different sunlight conditions.
