The YX-X804 Power Failure Automatic Switching Module is a versatile and reliable device that automatically switches between two power sources to maintain uninterrupted power to your equipment. This automatic switching module ensures that your devices remain operational even when the primary power source fails(main power supply), it engages automatically for the secondary power source (Battery source), preventing downtime and power interruptions. It is not a charger but a power-off protection module that automatically switches to the battery power supply in case of a power failure. This module operates within a wide input voltage range of 12V to 48V, making it suitable for a variety of applications, including battery backup systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), solar power systems, and other DC-powered devices. Its small form factor and easy installation make it ideal for use in embedded systems, home automation, and industrial control applications.
YX-X804 Power Failure Automatic Switching Module features three terminal blocks consisting of positive and negative terminals in each terminal, The first terminal(DC) is used to connect to the primary power supply like SMPS, etc., the second terminal(BAT) to the secondary power supply like battery and third terminal(OUT) to Load. When the power is cut off on the primary power supply side, this module automatically switches to a secondary power supply to power up the load and when the primary source is live it switches back to it. The relay switching time is approx. 0.7 to 1 second.
