⚠️ CRITICAL WARNINGS:

• Heat: The 16mm board has very little thermal mass. It heats up instantly. Thermal Paste is mandatory.
• Eyes: While the light looks like a dim purple, the UV energy is high. Do not stare into the beam.
• Driver: Use a 1.2A driver (e.g., 7135x3 or 7135x4). Do not use a 2.8A driver (7135x8) or Direct Drive, as it will kill the LED.

1. Is this the same as the ₹649 (365nm) version?
No. This is 395nm. It emits a lot of visible purple light. The ₹649 version is 365nm, which is invisible/stealthy. This one is better for general brightness; the expensive one is better for forensics.

2. Will it fit in a Convoy S2+?
Yes, perfectly. It uses the standard 16mm footprint.

3. Is it brighter than the 3W version?
Yes, significantly. It handles nearly double the current (1200mA vs 700mA), giving you a longer beam distance.

4. Can I cure resin with this?
Yes. It works on most standard UV resins. It is slightly slower than the 385nm version, but for casual use, it is fine.

5. Does it get hot?
Yes. 5W in a small flashlight produces a lot of heat. Do not run it for more than a few minutes at a time unless your flashlight is large (like a C8).

6. Can I use a 12V battery?
No! You need a driver. Connecting 12V directly will explode the LED.

7. Is it good for finding scorpions?
Yes, it is the best. Scorpions glow very brightly under 395nm, and the extra power helps you see them from far away.

8. Do I need special glasses?

13. Can I dim it?
Yes, if your driver supports modes (Low/Med/High).

Yes, the yellow/green dye used in AC systems glows very bright under 395nm.

It works, but the purple light washes out the details. Use 365nm for banknotes.
