1. Does this work with standard T-Slot profiles? No, pulley wheels require the angled "V" edge of a V-Slot profile to track correctly.

2. How do I adjust the tension? Use a wrench on the two eccentric (hex-shaped) spacers to move the wheels closer to or further from the rail.

3. What size profile is this for? This plate is specifically designed for 2020 (20mm x 20mm) V-Slot profiles.

4. Are the bearings replaceable? Yes, each wheel uses two standard 625ZZ bearings.

5. Can I use this for a heavy CNC spindle? This is a "Mini" set suited for lighter loads like laser heads or 3D printer extruders. For heavy spindles, use our 2040 Large Gantry Plate.

6. Will the POM wheels wear down over time? POM is highly wear-resistant, but they will eventually wear. Keeping your rails clean extends their life significantly.

7. Does the plate come pre-assembled? No, it comes as a kit to ensure you can properly align and tension the wheels during installation.

8. What is the plate thickness? The aluminum plate is 3mm thick.

9. Can I mount a NEMA 17 motor directly to this? This plate does not have motor mounting holes; it is a carriage plate. See our "Motor Mount Plates" for that purpose.

10. Do I need special tools for assembly? You will need a 3mm hex key and an 8mm wrench for the eccentric nuts.

11. How much weight can this carriage support? It is rated for vertical loads up to 5kg when properly tensioned.

12. Is the aluminum plate bendable? No, 6061-T5 aluminum is very rigid and designed to maintain flatness.

13. Are the screws included? Yes, the kit includes the necessary M5 low-profile screws and lock nuts.

14. What is the outer diameter of the wheels? These are "Mini" wheels with an outer diameter of approximately 15mm.

15. Can I add more wheels to the plate? The plate has a fixed 4-hole pattern for this specific wheel configuration.

16. Is it compatible with 2040 V-Slot? It will fit on the 20mm face of a 2040 rail, but will not span the full 40mm width.

17. Does it come in other colors? Currently, we stock the premium Black Anodized version.

18. Are these "Solid" or "V" wheels? These are standard V-shaped wheels designed to sit inside the V-Slot groove.

19. Can I use these for a vertical axis (Z-axis)? Yes, they are commonly used for Z-axis carriages in DIY 3D printers.

20. Is there any maintenance required? Periodically wipe the V-grooves of your profile and the wheels with a dry cloth to remove dust.
