1. How does this compare to the ₹ (3W) version?
   This version is 5 Watts, meaning it can handle nearly double the power (1200mA vs 700mA). It is significantly brighter and covers a larger area.
2. How does this compare to the (385nm) version?
   This (395nm) is cheaper and has a more visible purple glow. The 385nm version is tuned specifically for faster curing. If you are just making things glow or hunting scorpions, save money and buy this 395nm one.
3. Will this cure UV resin?
   Yes, it works well for most standard hobby resins and nail gels. It might take slightly longer than the 385nm version, but it gets the job done.
4. Do I need a heatsink?
   YES. You cannot run a 5W LED without a large heatsink. The star board alone is not enough.
5. Can I use a 12V adapter?
   Not directly. You need a Driver that takes 12V and limits the current to 1.2A. If you connect 12V directly, the LED will explode.
6. Is this good for scorpions?
   Yes, it is excellent. Scorpions glow bright green/cyan under 395nm light, and the extra power helps you see them from further away.
7. Can I use it for forensics/banknotes?
   It works, but the strong visible purple light can wash out faint details. For forensics, the 365nm version is much better.
8. What is the max current?
   We recommend running it at 1000mA - 1200mA. The absolute max is usually around 1400mA, but heat becomes very difficult to manage.
