DC to DC Step Down Buck Converter Input 20 - 120VDC Output 12VDC 10A ₹2,699.00 The Power Failure Automatic Switching Module is a versatile and reliable device that automatically switches between two power sources to maintain uninterrupted power to your equipment. This automatic switching module ensures that your devices remain operational even when the primary power source fails (main power supply) and engages automatically for the secondary power source (Battery source), preventing downtime and power interruptions. It also features a charger ON/OFF control to charge the battery based on the voltage setting. It is not a charger but a power-off protection module that automatically switches to the battery power supply in case of a power failure. This module's operating voltage is 12V DC, making it suitable for a variety of applications, including battery backup systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), solar power systems, and other DC-powered devices. Its small form factor and easy installation make it ideal for use in embedded systems, home automation, and industrial control applications.
This Power Failure Automatic Switching Module features four terminal blocks consisting of positive and negative terminals for three terminal and relay output NO and Common for charger ON/OFF control on the fourth terminal(Charger), first terminal(Power) is used to connect to primary power supply like SMPS, etc., second terminal(Battery) to secondary power supply like battery and third terminal to Load(Load). When the power is cut off on the primary power supply side, this module automatically switches to the secondary power supply to power up the load and when the primary source is live it switches back to it. The charger supply is ON when the battery voltage drops beyond the set Charging ON voltage and OFF when it reaches the set Charging OFF voltage. Charger ON/OFF Voltage should be adjusted by the onboard potentiometer. The relay switching time is approx. 0.7 to 1 second.
Charger ON/OFF Voltage adjustment method:
Scenario: To turn on the charger when the battery voltage is lower than 11V and turn off the charger when the battery is greater than 13V
Complete the above steps and you can use it normally. If you want other values, fine-tune the potentiometer clockwise for adjusting the voltage to high, and counterclockwise for adjusting the voltage to low
