Easy-to-use Stepper Motor Driver features adjustable current limiting, over-current and over-temperature protection, and six microstep resolutions (down to 1/32-step). Popularly used with NEMA17 and NEMA23 Steppers suitable upto 1.5A of continuos operation.

This module can drive one stepper motor. Use this board to control your stepper motor from your microcontroller, Arduino, RaspberryPi, etc. It uses the hugely popular Texas Instruments DRV8825 IC. The stepper motor can be controlled through just 2 pins - one for direction and the other for speed and step control. This makes it easy to control the speed and position of the motor from a microcontroller, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.

It offers numerous features like features adjustable current limiting, over-current and over-temperature protection, and six different microstep resolutions (down to 1/32-step). It can drive stepper motors with an input voltage of 8V to 45V and can deliver up to approximately 1.5 A per phase without a heat sink or forced air flow (it is rated for 2.2 A per coil with sufficient additional cooling).

Note: The DRV88525 Stepper Motor Driver is a new replacement for the A4988. It can handle more voltage and current for the stepper motor compared to the A4988.
