Shipping and Returns Policy

Shipping Policy


We accept only online orders and do not take any orders over phone or mail. You may use our e-store to place orders with us. Once you have placed the order and made your payment for the order, we will ship your order through one of our reputed trackable courier partners.

Turnaround
All orders are shipped within 1-7 working days.

Carriers
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

India Post - SpeedPost

Order Tracking
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.

Shipping Rates
We currently offer free shipping on all orders above Rs. 400.

Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Returns and Refund Policy


We strive to provide 100% satisfaction for all our buyers. If you wish to return an item for refund/replacement please follow these steps
How To Return An Item
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. If you wish to return an item, please inform us within 3 days of receipt of the product.

1. Please email info@probots.co.in to request a refund/report incorrect or damaged item

3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original tax invoice.

4. We will refund the complete amount you have paid for the item(excluding any shipping charges) through the same mode in which you made the payment for the order. We require 1-3 days to process refunds. Refunds will be credited to your account in 1-7 days.

Note:
1) We accept only unopened and unused items in their original packing for returns.
2) Shipping charges and other expenses incurred to return the item will not be refunded.
3) If item is sent for replacement, re-shipping charge is to be provided by the customer

1. How do I buy from Probots?
We accept orders only through our e-store and not over phone or mail. Placing an online order and maintaining a customer account with us will help you keep track of your order history, get support, etc. Once you place an order online, you will get an Order Number. Once you have placed the order, you may go ahead with the payment through any one of the payment options we support.

2. How to place an online order on your site?
To place an order online on our site you will have to add the required products in their required quantities to your shopping basket and continue with the onscreen instructions. You will be asked to register a customer account on our site. The customer account will help you keep track of your order history, store shipping/billing details, and save your shopping basket over multiple shopping sessions.

3. What are the supported payment options?
We provide a variety of payment options for making payments to your order. Payments are handled by PayU Gateway. Customers may make their payment by credit/debit card, internet banking, etc. Please contact us if you require a custom payment method.

4. How will my order be shipped?
Once we confirm the payment made for your order, we will immediately ship your order through a reputed trackable courier (usually DTDC or SpeedPost). We will take the utmost care to ensure that the package is not damaged during the transit. We normally ship to anywhere where DTDC provides its service. If DTDC's service is unavailable in your area, please contact us we will try sending it through other couriers.

5. What are the shipping lead times and charges?
We normally take around 0-7 working days to ship an order after we confirm your payment. Once shipped, the package should reach you in 1-5 days.
We try and ship orders at the earliest and depending on our order load and your products availability, we will ship your order in 0-7 working days.
Shipping charges are charged based on the weight of you order and the delivery location. Shipping and handling charges are automatically calculated and displayed by the site software before you confirm your online order.

6. We conduct workshops on robotics,embedded electronics, etc., how can you help us?
If you are conducting workshops, you will need good quality products at competitive prices. Since that happens to be exactly what we provide, we can be of great help to you. We can provide products at the affordable prices when you buy in bulk frequently.
Our products are available in "No Name" models. "No Name" products come without our name, weblinks, etc. You may use them in your workshops without getting concerned about reveling much about the product. Please call and confirm availability with us before ordering.
If you have a bulk requirement, we can get customized products based on your workshop needs and even with your name and and logos on them.

7. Do you provide tax invoices for all purchases?
All products we sell come billed. We provide an a tax invoice for all orders we dispatch. Customers within Karnataka are billed against Karnataka Value Added Tax and customers outside Karnataka are billed with Central Sales Tax.
Note: If you are customer outside Karnataka and if you can provide Form C for purchases, we can bill your products against 2% tax. Please contact us with your order list for such orders.

8. Are there any additional hidden charges?
The prices displayed on our site are final with only taxes charged additionally. There are no additional charges apart from our shipping and handling charges and taxes(5.5% for most items and 14.5% for a few). The final amount you will have to pay for your order, will be displayed on by our site software. This total is final and there are no additional charges.
Note:The prices of all products displayed on our site is the price excluding tax and shipping charges. The final price including tax and shipping is displayed when you place your order.

9. Our company requires a Purchase Order for placing orders, how do I get a PO from you?
We provide PO only for large orders. For all small orders, you may place an online order and use the order list as the PO. Please contact us at info@probots.co.in for POs.

10. Our company requires a Quotation for a sample order I'm planning to buy, how do I get a quotation from you?
We provide quotations only for bulk orders. For all small sample orders, the prices and terms of ordering, shipping and payment are same and applicable as mentioned on our site.
Since the prices displayed on our site is the current price, you may refer it for price estimations. We provide no further discounts for sample orders.

11. I've got a discounted quotation from Probots for my bulk order, but I expect better discounts as other vendors are providing upto 20%-30% discounts on bulk purchases.
We work on really low margins and strive to profit by selling products in quantities. Hence you may find our discounts for bulk purchases low. If any other vendor offers you large discounts on bulk purchases, it only shows how much they are profiting when you order the product in unit quantity from them. We already sell all our products at the lowest rates. You will infact find that even when you buy products in bulk from other vendors with large discounts, the price will be more than the price of the product when you buy from us in unit quantities!
Prices for bulk purchases are always negotiable though. Please contact us at info@probots.co.in for any bulk requirements.

Ordering Procedure If you are planning to buy from our store, here is the procedure you need to follow -

Step 1:
To place any order on our site, you will have to first create a customer account with us. To create your account, click on the "Log In" link at the top-right corner of our site, and click on Sign up in the page that opens. If you already have an account with us, click on "Log in" to Sign in.

Step 2 : After logging in to your account, you can start shopping and add products into your shopping cart.

Step 3 : Our shopping cart software will automatically calculate any bulk discounts, special discounts and the shipping rate. To know more about out shipping terms and rates, you can view our Shipping and Payment Information.

Step 4 : After adding all the products you require to your cart, you can confirm your order by clicking on the "Go to Checkout" button on your shopping basket page.

Step 5 : You will then be asked to enter your shipping address, billing address, payment method, shipping method, etc.

Step 6 : Once you add a product to your cart, it will remain in you shopping basket, until you remove it, even when you log out and log in again the next time.

Shipping and Payment Options for Probots

Shipping
Currently, we ship only within India. We ship through DTDC. All orders are shipped in 0-7 days of confirming the payment for the order. Depending on your location, products are delivered usually after 1-5 days of dispatching the order. Once the products are shipped, you will be given a tracking code, using which, you can track the current location of your package and know approximately when to expect it delivered to you. Shipping charges are added automatically to the total cost during checkout.

If any products are not in stock, they will backordered and will be shipped as soon as they are back in stock.

Local pick-ups We do not have a store upfront, so do not turn up at our office to purchase any products. If you want to come over and pick up your products, place an order, as you would normally do, on our website and select Store Pickup as the shipping option and use our office address as the shipping address during the checkout process. After placing your order, contact us to know when to come over and pick up your products. We normally deliver Store Pickup orders between 5 pm and 8 pm.

Availability of products
We update our online stock quantities of all our products regularly but we do not guarantee that the stock quantities shown on are website are correct at any given moment. Hence, placement of an order through our website does not ensure that the items ordered are readily available for shipping. In case any product that is ordered is not available, we will hold your order and contact you as soon as possible for instructions on how you would like to proceed.

Cancelation
If you would like to cancel an order you have placed with us, write to us as soon as possible and we will put your order on hold and get back to you as soon as possible for further instructions and confirmation. Based on the stage at which your order is in, you will either receive a complete refund or a partial refund.

Returns:
The nature of the products we sell makes it difficult for us to accept returns of products once sold. But we do accept all damaged or defective parts we may have shipped if they are in their original package and condition. If you receive any damaged or defective part(s), write to us within 15 days and we will replace the damaged or defective part(s). We however, do not take any responsibility for damage caused to products due to carelessness or improper use by the user.

Warranty:
All products we sell are covered by a limited period warranty as stated in the product page. We however, do not take any responsibility for damage caused to products due to carelessness or improper use by the user.

All backorders, missing products and replacements will be shipped through DTDC.

Refund:
We strive to provide the best service at the most reasonable price and help keep the prices of our products low. If at any time you are unhappy with our service, please read the following refund policy to avail a refund from us.

When order status is Processing: Order status is updated to processing after receiving your payment. When an order is in Processing, the order is being packed and is not dispatched yet. If you decide to cancel your order in this stage, you will receive a complete refund if you inform us about the cancellation before it is handed over to the courier company.

When the order is received by the customer and returned to us: If an order is received by the customer and then returned to us for a refund, we can refund only the cost of the products and not the shipping charge. Return shipping is to be paid by the customer. Such returned orders are entitled to a refund only if, the customer informs us immediately upon receipt for the order (within 1-2 days) and returns the products in an unused and in the original packing.

When the parcel is dispatched and lost in transit: We dispatch all orders through trackable courier parcels. If parcel fails to be delivered to the customer, it is usually returned to us and we can redispatch it. If a parcel is lost in transit, we take up a missing parcel case with the courier company. This requires us to wait for at least 45 days after the parcel has been booked. If a parcel is lost in transit, we can offer a full refund. We cannot refund or replace parcels that were not delivered because they were not picked up in time, or if we were given a wrong address.

If a customer is entitled to a refund from us, we will process the refund through cash deposit/NEFT. A customer is entitled to a complete refund if he receives a defective item upon receipt. In all other cases, shipping cost is non refundable. Please contact us at info@probots.co.in for any refund related issues. Refunds are initiated in 1-7 days after the refund claim is agreed by us. And may require unto 1-10 days to reflect in the customers account
